Help grow the next generation of leaders
2024 Tjindu Aboriginal AFL Academy Trials
Building better futures through culture and sport
Youth programs
The Tjindu Foundation is helping to develop tomorrow’s leaders through culture-centred programs that connect sport to education and personal development outcomes through our Tjindu football academy, Tjindu STRONG and hosting the Nunga U18 Next Generation Football Carnival.
Corporate engagement
We work with Australian governments, not-for-profits and private companies to grow their awareness and understanding of Aboriginal history, culture in society and the workplace. We believe in the importance of connecting the world’s oldest culture and those who identify with it to the modern workplace through cultural awareness training and the development of Reconciliation Action Plans

For many Aboriginal language groups in SA, Tjindu ( pronounced Jin-Doo ) is the word for the sun, or sunshine.
As our name, Tjindu encapsulates our foundation’s purpose to create opportunities for Aboriginal children and young people to develop their own bright futures.
