Loretta Romeo

Loretta comes from an Aboriginal/Italian family and is a proud descendant of the Kaurna, Narungga and Ramindjeri peoples. Loretta has a diverse professional background, having worked in the private and public sector, in industries including correctional services, education, housing, project and property development, banking and professional services, agriculture and aviation across geographical and international markets.

Loretta provides her cultural authority to the South Australian Government’s Economic Officials Committee and the Social Officials Committee – Closing the Gap and Co-Chair Aboriginal Affairs Executive Committee – Economic Participation.

Loretta is currently completing MBA at the University of Adelaide and holds a Master of Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Social Science.
