Serena Waters is a proud Dunghutti and Larrakia woman, with connections to the Binjari people in the Northern Territory, and a speaker of the Gumbaynggirr language.
Serena joined the Tjindu Foundation in 2023 as an administrative trainee. She is a dual athlete in basketball and Australian Football. She has previously played in the US college basketball system and also with the Sydney Uni Flames WNBL team squad, and in the NBL1 competition for Woodville.
Serena provides administrative support to the Tjindu Foundation team in the office, while her sports background gives her the opportunity to mentor students setting out on their own career journeys.
